Meet the Team: Lindsay Garofalo

After nearly two decades in the health and social services sector, a value that has stood the test of time and changing contexts for me is: the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It’s been a guiding principle in my work, my leadership, and even my weekend coaching gigs on the soccer field.

That’s why I’m beyond excited to be joining Collective Results, a team that doesn’t just believe in collaboration — they live and breathe it. I’m thrilled to be in a role working alongside dedicated health and social service providers who are not only supporting communities on the ground, but also influencing systems, shaping policy, and pushing for meaningful change.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats — from front-line service delivery to strategic and people leadership — and in every role, one thing has remained true: real change happens when we come together. Whether it’s co-designing better services, aligning leadership practices with real-world realities, or making space for every voice at the table, collaboration is powerful. I’ve led initiatives focused on improving service delivery, strengthening systems, and building leadership capacity — all while juggling the wonderfully complex world of mandates, scopes of service and protocols. I’m a big believer in using data to tell stories, design smarter systems, and to give organizations the feedback they need to adapt in a constantly shifting environment.

Right now, I’m also on a new learning journey, pursuing a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership and Industrial-Organizational Psychology. My research focuses on how leadership styles can align with group dynamics, organizational culture and community context to make real, lasting impact. I’m diving deep into the human side of transformation — because it’s not just about systems; it’s about people.

When I’m not diving into research papers or facilitating system improvements, you’ll probably find me at a local municipal center, cheering on my kids at their sports events or coaching youth soccer. There’s something about being part of a team — watching kids learn, support, experience adversity, and celebrate together — that keeps bringing me back to this idea: we’re better together.

Joining Collective Results is more than a career move — it’s an opportunity to bring my experience, values, and whole-hearted belief in collaboration into new spaces where we can build something greater, together.

I can’t wait to connect, collaborate, and co-create with you.
