In December 2023, Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions embarked on a journey with Collective Results to complete a Child & Youth Complex Mental Health Systems Review for Muskoka. As the Core Service Provider for Child & Youth Mental Health services in Muskoka we recognized the changing landscape of our service area, along with funding pressures and waitlists for service(s) and wanted to explore how our services and the services of our community partners impact the children, youth and families we are here to serve. Collective Results led us in this project by taking on the project management and planning, data collection, analysis and validation, and in the end, provided us with a final report with the compiled findings and recommendations.
From the very beginning of our collaboration, Collective Results staff were organized and in control, but flexible and attuned to the needs of our organization and the vision we held for the systems review. Working with Collective Results was seamless and efficient. The project plan and timelines held us all accountable and kept us on task and track. Their ability and skill to facilitate collaborative advisory group discussions in order to clarify and better understand the needs of our community partners was extremely beneficial to the process.
Collective Results assisted us in thinking big and drilling down as needed to fully understand the state of child and youth mental health services in Muskoka. Collective Results kept the project scope focused and always at the forefront of discussion and data collection. They skillfully kept us and our advisory group grounded in the intent and purpose of the review and ultimately provided us with key takeaways and recommendations that will enable us and our community to collaboratively and effectively move forward in creating a child & youth mental health system that meets the needs of children, youth and families in Muskoka.
